Farmers in Malawi work within a demanding environment. Maize is the country's main staple, and many families rely on growing it. Planting maize season after season, however, can put pressure on the soil and on biodiversity. Farming differently means adapting long-established practices, and Juliet, 90, is choosing to do just that.
